Spanish-born of Ghanaian Inaki Williams powered Athletico Bilbao to a 3-2 win over Bundesliga side Hertha Berlin in a tough encounter in the UEFA Europa League on Thursday evening.

The Liverpool and Dortmund target scored the winning goal of the game at the San Memes Stadium to give The Lions their second win of the competition to move to second spot on the table.

The visitors drew first blood through Australian international Matthew Leckie in the 26th minute before Aritz Aduriz restored parity from the spot with 10 minutes before the break.

Davie Selke restored the lead for the Bundesliga side a minute after Aduriz’s equalizer to end the first half in a 2-1 lead.

Aritz Aduriz restored parity again to register his brace from another spot kick in the 66th minute before Inaki Williams powered The Lions to victory with 8 minutes to end the game.

Williams who lasted for the entire duration of the match won the hearts of his team mates and fans for fetching the all-important win for them.

The youngster could still feature for the Black Stars despite playing for the Spanish youth side after declaring his intention to play for Ghana anytime he is called.
