Spanish side Deportivo Alaves have made a staggering offer to sway midfielder Mubarak Wakaso who is set to leave Panathinaikos this summer.

The club finished 9th on the league table and have already shown great ambition by signing Enzo Zidane on a three year deal.

They have now turned attention to Wakaso with some reports in Spain indicating that a deal could be signed in the next 48 hours.

The Ghanaian spent the second part last season on loan at Granada and was one of the bright spots in the team that eventually got relegated.

The 26-year-old knows the Spanish League well and can play in the middle and also as an auxiliary winger.

Reading, Aston Villa and Atalanta are all clubs that have enquired about his availability.
