Good news for Stoke City, as one of their main stars is close to recover after a long injury: as confirmed today by Potters boss Mark Hughes, Ibrahim Afellay will return to official games soon.
The ex Barcelona midfielder suffered the knee injury last April in a training incident and has spent six months on the sidelines.
“He has worked very hard and was fit enough to join the group. He made conditional steps and his left knee has become stronger," Mark Hughes revealed to the club's official website, also claiming that Afellay had returned to the club’s training ground.
