Ghana goalkeeper Adam Larsen Kwarasey has deferred his future talks at Stromsgodset to the end of the season.

The Norwegian Eliteserien wraps up on 9 November with two rounds of matches left to be played.

Kwarasey’s contract expires at the end of the season but has refused to sign a contract extension.

The 26 year-old captain has been linked with several top European sides including former coach Ronny Deila's Celtic of Scotland.

"It’s true my contract ends at the end of the season but we will have to sit down and talk after the season has ended," Kwarasey told VG Sporten.

"Stromsgodset is in a slightly different position to win trophies now as we were some few seasons ago and I want to be challenging for the tittle all the time.

"We had a weak game last time and the attention should quickly be to recover against FK Haugesund."

Stromsgodset, who won the Norwegian title last season, are currently in fourth place and 11 points behind leaders Molde.
