Mamelodi Sundown coach Pitso Mosimane has tipped Ghanaian duo Solomon Asante and Daniel Nii Adjei to be dangerous for his side as they clash in the CAF Super Cup.

Sundowns, champions of this year’s CAF Champions League will take on TP Mazembe, winners of this year’s CAF Confederation Cup and the two are set for the clash of the titans.

Though the clash is three months away from now Mamelodi Sundowns, coach Pitso Mosimane has already started watching matches of  TP Mazambe, tipping the Ghanaian duo to be dangerous on the day.

Sundowns won this year’s CAF Champions League following their 3-1 aggregate win over Zamalek.

“I have watched them already. The same Mazembe we played is the same side we will play. They have the same strategy and the same players. It's only two who were not there when we played them," said Mosimane to the South Africa media ahead of their weekend’s clash with Kaizer Chiefs.

”They still have Solomon Asante and Nathan Sankala. They have left-back Kasusula. They have an Ivorian goalkeeper now. They still have (Daniel) Adjei, the Ghanaian. I know them well."

Nii Adjei and Solomon Asante played a key role in getting TP Mazembe to win the 2016 CAF Confederationms Cup and Pitso sees their inclusion as a major worry.

The Super Cup clash will be the third time the two sides will be meeting after meeting twice in this year’s CAF Champions League which Sundowns won by 3-2 on aggregate.

Before the Super Cup match, Sundowns will play in the Fifa Club World Cup in Japan next month.
