Supersport inspects facilities at Techiman City home venue Nana Ameyaw Park

Published on: 12 February 2016

Holders of the Broadcast Rights of the Ghana Premier League, Supersport visited the Nana Ameyaw Park, the home ground of embattled newly promoted Premier League side Techiman City FC, to inspect the facility ahead of the league kick off.

The Supersport crew were taken round by the President of the club Charles Kwadwo Ntim popularly known as 'Micky Charles' to inspect the facility.

Even though the inspection team from the broadcast sponsors did not make their motive know, it is believed that they are inspecting on the venues where matches could be telecasted live when the league finally kicks off.

Even though the Premier League status of Techiman City is been challenged following the FA Ethics Committee ruling on a bribery scandal, the Brong Ahafo-based side are not leaving any stone unturned ahead of the 20th February kick off.

Techiman City FC are challenging the ruling as they have appealed and also filed for stay of execution.

The domestic top-flight championship is expected to kick start on 20 February, 2016.
