Swansea City boss Paul Clement has revealed they're in new contract talks with Federico Fernandez.
But he was quick to make clear he is nowhere near starting to plan for next season, insisting the focus must be on the here and now.
"They are in talks, they are going well and they should not be too far away," he said.
"We are not planning for next season, just the next game. That approach has been going well for us so that is how we will continue to do it.
"I sense a positivity around the club, players and supporters, but I am conscious that as quick as you can make things better, they can also get worse so you have to keep working hard."
