Ghana youth international Kwame Amponsah Karikari's scored his first goal in the Swedish top flight by securing a precious 1-0 away win for AIK Stockholm.

The 19-year-old's 38th minute goal gave AIK the points at Norrkoping on Monday night.

He moved to the club early this year and has been fighting for regular football.

Karikari was a member of the Ghana Under-20 team which failed to defend the African Youth trophy in South Africa this year.

He was handed a starting role in the Black Satellites final Group match against Cameroon which ended one-all.

Karikari is expected to replace Ibrahim Teteh Bangura who has joined Turkish side Bursaspor.
