Premier League registration shuts on Friday

The deadline for the Ghana transfer window is set to shut on Friday September 14.

The Premier League Clubs are making last decisions on which players to bring ahead of the 2012/13 Ghana Premier League season.

Promising Medeama winger Richard Mpong has been linked with a move to Asante Kotoko affer a deal with Czech side FK Dukhla Prague fell through.

Kotoko’s Yahaya Mohammed has completed his move to newly promoted Amidaus Professionals while midfielder Samuel Kyere has completed his return to Berekum Chelsea.

The 2010 Ghanaian champions have also secured the services of Ivorian striker Kojo Bosso following the departure of Emmanuel Clottey to Tunisian giants Esperance.

Chelsea are understood to be tracking Eric Bekoe after his proposed move to Kotoko collapsed on the eleventh hour.

The former Petrooject arrowman is racing against time to find a club before the transfer window shut.

Reports in the local media on Friday claimed Hearts could gazump the Blues for the services of the player following injuries to duo Gilbert Fiamenyo and Richard Addai.

Aduana Stars have completed the signing of striker Alex Asamoah on a free transfer. He joins after a one-year stint with Ashantigold.
