GHALCA chairman Alhaji Ali Raji his dismissed claims of embezzling a $9000 loan contracted by the welfare body from the Ghana FA.
The seasoned football administrator has been accused of conniving with Treasurer George Amoako to secure a $9000 loan from the Ghana FA which is unaccounted for.
Executives of GHALCA have threatened to initiate moves to remove Raji from office for embezzling the bodyââ¬â¢s funds without following due procedures.
But former director of Sekondi XI Wise has rejected these allegations â⬓ insisting there is enough proof to exonerate him.
ââ¬ÅIt can never be true that I secured the loan from the GFA without the consent of my executives,â⬠he told GHANAsoccernet.com.
ââ¬ÅThis was recorded in the minutes of previous meetings so I donââ¬â¢t know how come some members claim the loan was secured without their consent.
ââ¬ÅNow they also say I embezzled the loan which of course is not true.
ââ¬ÅThe money [loan from GFA] was used to repay a loan secured earlier as part payment to Enugu Rangers for their participation in last yearââ¬â¢s Presidentââ¬â¢s Cup.
ââ¬ÅThere are enough documents to prove that as well.ââ¬
Raji revealed a meeting has been called to appropriately deal with the serious allegations leveled against him.
