Deputy Skipper of West Africa Football Academy Gideon Waja says he anticipates a very competitive 2015/2016 First Capital Plus Premier League.

Waja, who is seen as a rising star in Ghanaian football helped the Sogakope based club to  10th position in the 2014/2015 season.

The team which is led by John Killa has had most of his players gaining national recognition, key among them is Samuel Tetteh who became only the first outfield player to be invited by Avram Grant to the national team.

Deputy Skipper Gideon Waja says he anticipates a keenly contested 2015/2016 season.

“We played well if you ask me but I do not really think we should have ended in 10th position but that is football,” Waja said

“But that is in the past I see a lot of teams improving so the coming season is likely to be really tough and that is why we are doing every thing possible to be up there.”
