We fully deserved our victory against Hearts-Tema Youth President Osei Palmer claims

President of Tema Youth Wilfred Osei Kweku Palmer says his outfit deserved their 2-1 victory over Hearts of Oak in week 7 of the Ghana Premier League on Wednesday.

The Harbour City boys returned to winning ways after going two games without a win when they defeated Hearts of Oak 2-1 at the Tema Sports Stadium courtesy goals from Joseph Paintsil and Ibrahim Yusif with their opponents getting a consolation from skipper Thomas Abbey.

“Hearts will admit that we played better and deserved the three points. We have been playing well for some time now, against Bolga All Stars we played well same as the games against Elmina Sharks and WAFA, which we performed much better,” Wilfred Palmer told Happy FM.

“Over the period, all signs indicate that physically speaking the team’s confidence has soured high even before this match. When we started the season Oti Akenteng and Didi Dramani assured us that the only thing we lacked was preparation towards games but I made them aware that this is a new team we’re building and they assured me that after four or five games the boys will come good and yesterday was a testament of that."
