Aduana Stars forward Yahaya Mohammed has confirmed the sudden resignation of Coach Nurudeen Amadu was as a result of the disunity in the team.

Aduana was tipped to win the Ghana Premier League title this season but they have been dealt a blow in their first two games of the season.

Defeats to Inter Allies and Wa All Satrs have done little to help the situation with Coach Nurudeen Amadu paying the ultimate price for the team’s failure in the first two games.

But experienced forward Yahaya Mohammed says beyond the results the paying body was not united.

“In everything you do, you have to be united. If the unity is not there, anything you do will not work,” Yahaya told Accra based Starr FM.

“This is why the coach quit. I am disappointed that our disunity forced him to leave.”
