Youngster Daniel Amartey believes he can achieve his career objectives after signing for Danish giants FC Copenhagen.

The 19-year-old moved from Swedish side Djurgarden IF and has signed a five-year contract.

Amartey, formerly of Ghana Premier League side Inter Allies, was being chased by Liverpool but decided to sign for the Lions.

He believes he has made the right career move to achieve his set targets as a professional football.

“I am very happy right now because I have my future in place in a club like FC Copenhagen, which I am very proud to be a part of,” Amartey said after completing his move on Wednesday.

‘’FC Copenhagen has been my only priority, because I had from the beginning made up my mind that the only clubs in Scandinavia I represent is Djurgarden and FC Copenhagen.

“It's a big club and I need to contribute my quota to help achieve something big. I look forward to help.”
