AC Milan's young Ghanaian forward Kingsley Boateng has been sidelined for a month after sustaining a knee injury.
The 17-year-old, nicknamed Prince by the AC Milan faithful, has suffered distortions of the meniscus in his right knee, Gazzetta dello Sport reported.
Boateng, who has no relation with 23-year-old compatriot Kevin, will need four weeks to recover.
With striker Zlatan Ibrahimovic, Robinho and legend Filippo Inzaghi in the treatment room, the promising star was inching close to his Serie A debut.
Boateng announced his readiness for first team action when he scored in Milan's 2-2 draw with Swedish side Malmo in a pre-season friendly last month.
