Olympique Marseille midfielder Andre Ayew says his return to the Black Stars feels like he never left in the first place.

The 23-year-old is making a return to the team after taking temporary leave from international football.

Ayew's acrimonious exit has fuelled subtle perceptions of unfavourable conditions of his return.

But the son of Ghana legend Abedi Pele says the feeling on his return remains very normal.

''I don't have much to say about that because it was like I never left,'' he said.

'Things have been great. From the FA, from the coach, from everybody.

''In life we learn to grow up and look forward. We are here to fight for our country.

''We are here to look forward to qualifying to Brazil. Whoever sitting here wants to go to Brazil.

''So for me personally from the staff side, all this is past and we are looking forward to something new.''
