AS Monaco in talks to sign Ghanaian Myron Boadu

French giants AS Monaco are in talks to sign striker Myron Boadu from AZ Alkmaar.

According to transfer expert Fabrizio Romano, Monaco are progressing in talks with the Dutch club for the signature of the highly-rated youngster.

Personal terms set to be agreed with Boadu and his agent Mino Raiola who is working on the deal.

The Netherlands international of Ghanaian descent missed Alkmaar's last pre-season friendly match against second-tier side TOP Oss.

This fuelled rumours of him being on the verge of parting ways with his boyhood club after five years.

Now, the potential transfer has been confirmed.

Boadu enjoyed an impressive 2020/21, scoring 15 goals and making 38 appearances in all competitions.

Numerically speaking, Boadu would replace Stevan Jovetic in the squad, who did not have his contract extended after it expired last month.
