Aston Villa fans are disappointing to hear that Jordan Ayew could be set to move to West Ham United, but they have wished the attacker well.

The Telegraph suggested yesterday that West Ham will target Ayew in the summer transfer window, and Villa fans are resigned to losing their prized forward.

Ayew has been one of the few Villa players to deserve any credit for the way they have played this season.

The 24-year-old has generally looked the Claret and Blues’ brightest threat, and he has scored six times in 31 appearances across all competitions.

With Villa heading into the Championship, it was always unlikely that the Ghanian international would stick around and West Ham are reportedly willing to give him an escape route from Villa Park.

The Hammers have been impressed by his showings for the Midlands side, and Slaven Bilic believes he would enhance their attacking options.

Villa fans seem to suggest that he would do well at West Ham, and it appears that he would leave Villa Park with their best wishes.

Here is the best reaction to the latest rumours on social media site Twitter.
