German giants Bayern Munich have reportedly entered the fray to sign Olympique Marseille midfielder Andre Ayew.

An official from the Bavarian club was spotted in the stands last week to watch the Ghana international when Marseille thrashed high-spending PSG.

Contact is yet to be established in relation to a possible transfer but Bayern are expected to continue scouting the player in the coming weeks.

The 21-year-old came through Marseille's youth system but it was only after loan spells with Lorient and Arles-Avignon that he established himself in the first team, hitting 11 goals in 37 league games last season.

He has also rose through the ranks to become a key player for the Ghana national team and is a sure bet to make the Black Stars squad for next year's Africa Cup of Nations jointly hosted by Gabon and Equatorial Guinea.
