Bechem United striker Hafiz Konkoni has expressed his desire to play for Ghana Premier League giants Hearts of Oak.
Konkoni has been a thorn in the flesh of Hearts of Oak for some seasons now.
In the 2019/20 league campaign, the 21-year-old nearly marred the Phobians victory when he silenced their vociferous fans at the Accra Sports Stadium with a late equalizer.
However, a goal at the death by Kofi Kordzi secured a 3-2 win for the Rainbow club.
Konkoni says he is always motivated to score against Hearts of Oak in order to grasp their attention as he holds a deep desire to play for the club.
“They are all big clubs and I score anytime I play against Hearts of Oak,” Konkoni said.
“As a player, it is always your motive to play well and impress when coming up against the big guys to earn a deal to play for them.”
“Hearts of Oak is a great side and I would love to play for them some day, Insha Allah.”
He further assured Ghanaians and Bechem united fans to watch out for an improved version of himself when football resumes.
“Yes, everyone should watch out for the same and an improved version of Hafiz Konkoni as we awaits football resumption in Ghana.”
