Berekum Chelsea await Champions League draw today

Berekum Chelsea will know their opponents in the CAF Champions League group stage when the draw is conducted on Tuesday in Cairo, Egypt.

The Ghanaian champions secured a historic qualification to the money zone of Africa’s elite inter club competition after completing an aggregate 2-1 win over Cameroonian side CotonSports.

The Blues could be drawn against two North African countries after former Champions Al Ahly beat Stade de Malien 3-1 on Monday night to complete the cast for the draw today.

Title holders Esperance of Tunisia were among five former winners to book their place in the lucrative group phase of the competition.

Etoile du Sahel, DR Congo’s TP Mazembe and Zamalek are among some of the powerhouses that will play in the money zone.

Algeria's AS Chlef and Nigerian Sunshine Stars are the last two teams that will also their know their fate today.
