Ghanaian Kevin-Prince Boateng failed to pass a late fitness test to join the AC Milan team for their final Serie-A game at Siena on Sunday.

The 26-year-old misses out through a minor knee injury.

Boateng will now join compatriot; Sulley Muntari on the sidelines as he also misses out with a two-game ban for last weekend’s red card in the goalless draw with Roma.

His absence is however alleviated by the return of Riccardo Montolivo who returns from thigh strain.

Milan need to a win against the already relegated Siena to confirm their third spot in Serie-A and a place in the playoff stage in next season’s Champions League.

Milan squad for Siena: Abbiati, Amelia, Gabriel; Abate, Antonini, Bonera, Constant, De Sciglio, Mexes, Salamon, Yepes, Zaccardo, Zapata; Ambrosini, Flamini, Montolivo, Nocerino, Traoré; Balotelli, El Shaarawy, Niang, Pazzini, Robinho.
