Ghanaian forward Dennis Tetteh came off the bench to power Slavia Mozyr to victory against Smolevichi in the Belarusian Premier League on Friday.

Following a cagey first half, coach Mikhail Martinovich made a tactical adjustment in the second stanza by introducing Ghanaian frontman Dennis Tetteh in place of Aleksandr Kotlyarov.

Maksym Slyusar broke the deadlock for Slavia Mozyr on the 50th minute mark but Smolevichi quickly replied two minutes later through Aleksey Vakulich.

However, the hosts grabbed all the maximum points in the 55th minute through Dennis Tetteh. The Ghanaian midfielder drove his low shot into the top corner after connecting to Denis Kovalevski's pass to win the match 2-1 for Slavia Mozyr.

The win takes Slavia Mozyr  to 10th on the standings with 18 points from 14 matches.

Former Ghana youth striker Francis Narh also played full throttle for Slavia Mozyr.
