Chelsea manager Thomas Tuchel won't interfere in Hudson-Odoi's international future

Chelsea manager Thomas Tuchel says he is not going to interfere in the decision of winger Callum Hudson-Odoi to represent Ghana or England.

The 21-year-old has rejected two invites to the U21 team during the international breaks in October and November to concentrate on his club career.

But sources close to the player reveal, the winger is considering a switch in nationality after spending the holidays in Ghana, where he met President Nana Akufo-Addo.

“It is Callum’s choice and I will not interfere. If there is something to decide, then he needs to decide," said Thomas Tuchel.

“The next chance is tomorrow, if he gets minutes, he needs to take them to let that quality speak for itself.

“We have to respect his decision and everybody has their own way of approaching things.”

Hudson-Odoi has been in good form for the Blues this season despite a difficult start to the campaign.
