Dreams FC captain Abdul Bashiru has paid glowing tribute to his team mates for their support after being named man of the match in Saturday's draw.

The former Sekondi Eleven Wise left back put in another outstanding performance on Saturday at the Theatre of Dreams when they shared the spoils in the 1-1 draw against Wa All Stars.

Bashiru returned to Dreams FC last season from Egyptian side Ismaily SC after a nagging injury forced him to cancel his deal with the Egyptian side.

“I am happy with my performance so far,” Bashiru told dreamsfc.com.

“I feel I am doing well, my confidence level has soared and I am delighted.”

“We are doing very well in the season, but credit goes to my team mates as well because without them I can’t do it alone.”

“If I win anything at this club I will be very glad. I play my part as captain and leader on the field. But we all need to work hard and take Dreams far,” the former Inter Allies player concluded.

Abdul Bashiru has featured in all the four games played so far. He is by far one of the brightest spots in the side.

He was adjudged the EMWL- Dreams FC player of the match against Wa All Stars on Saturday.
