Head coach CK Akonnor singled out Abeiku Ainooson for praise after a classy performance in Dreams FC’s 1-0 defeat at Asante Kotoko.
Ainooson, on loan from Kotoko for the second half of the season, was in incredible form against his parent club at the Baba Yara Stadium.
"He carried the day for us, in the early minutes of the game he was doing a lot of work," Akonnor told dreamsfc.com in an interview.
"Since he joined us, we saw his fitness level and himself has coped very well with the situation, he’s shown a lot of experience, his attitude on and off the field of play and so we’re very happy to have him.
"He’s brought a lot of stability at the back and he did a lot of work.
"I would’ve given him the match-of-the-match instead of Hayford. Hayford also did very well but I would’ve preferred Abeiku to Hayford."
Ainooson has since played seven matches for the debutants and scored his goal in the 4-0 win over Berekum Chelsea.
