Ghana U20 star Joseph Alfred Duncan starred for Livorno as they made aÂ return to the Italian top-flight after beating Empoli 1-0 in theÂ second-leg of the final promotion stages on Sunday.
The 20-year-old workaholic midfielder lasted the entire regulation time for Livorno as Brazilian Paulinho scored the only goal of the game to clinch a 2-1 aggregate win for Livorno.
The Inter Milan loanee's 72nd minute strike on Wednesday earned Livorno priceless 1-1 draw at Empoli.
He joined Livorno in January from Inter Milan and played cameo roles in their season making a total of 23 appearances and scoring twice.
With his club ambitions achieved, he will quickly fly over to Ghana to join the Black Satellites squad ahead of the FIFA U20 World Cup which comes off in Turkey later this month.
