Elmina Sharks fined GHC 10,000 for misconduct

Ghana Premier League side Elmina Sharks have been fined GHC 10,000 for misconduct in the game against Medeama SC. 

Fans of the club breached the inner perimeter in the home game against Medeama in Elmina and abused the referee.

The game ended with the visitors winning 2-1.

A statement on the FA's read:"The GFA Disciplinary Committee has imposed a fine of GHc10,000 on Elmina Sharks FC after supporters of the club entered the inner perimeter abused and assaulted the Centre Referee in their Ghana Premier League match against Medeama SC."
