Nigerian side Enugu Rangers have confirmed they will play Ghanaian giants Hearts of Oak in a friendly next month, GHANAsoccernet.com can confirm.

Hearts have invited Rangers for a friendly on 13 November to mark their centenary celebration after they could not afford English champions Manchester United.

Reports later claimed the Flying Antelopes might not be able to travel for the fixture which clashed with a Nigerian Premier League match on the same date.

"It is the biggest agenda on the calendar of Rangers next month and I can tell you nothing is preventing us from traveling to Accra to honour it," Enugu Rangers Chief Executive Paul Ozor Chibuzor told Radio BAR.

"We are coming to Ghana with our full team and the boys are in high spirits because they know Hearts of Oak is a very great club.

''They are very anxious to be in Ghana to face them and I assure you we will sell a very good game."

He added: "We are very much honoured to be invited by Hearts of Oak and we cannot let it slip because we have a WAFU tournament ahead so this will be a very good test for us."

Hearts will officially turn 100 on 11 November.
