Former Man. City and Argentinian NT powerhouse ZABALETA quits football

Published on: 16 October 2020

A free agent since last July, 35-year old Pablo Zabaleta, announced having quit playing football as a pro. Fending for West Ham during last three seasons, the 1985-born right-back, the core of whose career he spent as a Manchester City player (from 2008 to 2017), capped 58 times for Argentinian full-side national team.

Zabaleta won two Premier League titles (2011/12 and 2013/14), and was appointed PL Player of the Year by PFA in 2012/13.
