Ghana defender Nicholas Opoku is available for selection at Amiens SC in their Ligue II clash against Rodez on Sunday.

The 23-year-old center back returned to France testing negative of COVID-19, and has trained with the team since Thursday.

Manager Oswald Tanchot has included the strong guardsman in his squad for the game against Rodez.

Opoku enjoyed a good international break, featuring in both AFCON qualifiers as the Black Stars sealed qualification to the competition next year. He netted his debut goal for the African giants in the 3-1 victory against Sao Tome in Accra.

Meanwhile, compatriot Emmanuel Lomotey has been ruled of Amiens' game on Sunday after testing positive of COVID-19 during the international break.

Opoku is on loan from Italian side Udinese, but Amiens have the option of sealing a permanent deal at the end of the season.

He has made 26 appearances in the Ligue II for Amiens in the ongoing campaign.
