Norwegian side Brann are seething with anger over the attitude of Ghanaian forward Gibert Koomson who refused to turn up for training without permission as he seems to be forcing a move to a Turkish top-flight side, Ghanasoccernet.com can exclusively reveal.

The 26-year old, who has been in blistering form in the league this season, failed to turn up for training with his side and did not get seek the permission to skip the daily schedule with his club.

Brann coach Kare Ingebrigtsen in unhappy over the conduct of Koomson insisting he cannot locate his Ghanaian firepower despite several phone calls to check if he is fine

Koomson has been linked to a host of clubs in Turkey in the ongoing transfer window and it has been reported that Erzurumspor is favourites to sign the Ghanaian forward.

It seems Brann are unhappy over the offer the Turkish side have sent and are reluctant to release the player which might have forced go absent from training without leave.

"I do not know where he is. He is not here. We expected him to come to training. He is very special," Brann coach Ingebrigtsen said when asked about the absence of Koomson from from training.

Koomson's agent was not forthcoming with an answer over the whereabouts of the striker when  asked about the player's absence.

"I have been very busy today and unfortunately do not have an answer to give you," Soltvedt wrote.

Former Brann's player Erik Huseklepp slammed Koomson saying the Ghanaian is behaving unprofessionally if he intends to push a move out of the club.

"It sounds very strange. That's not the way to go. There are clubs in Turkey trying to buy him, and then this can be seen in connection with it. But I have to make a small reservation here since he has not told his version," Huseklepp said.

Despite these claims by the club, the Ghanaian striker has not spoken about his absence from training so making a judgement would be unfair.

Koomson scored eight goals last campaign in 17 matches to become the club's highest top scorer.
