Ghana to discover AFCON fate today as CAF meets over Sierra Leone ban

Ghana will find out if they will be awarded points in the 2019 Africa Cup of Nations after their double-header against Sierra Leone were cancelled in October.

CAF decided to call off the matches after FIFA banned the Sierra Leone Football Association for government interference.

It is the fifth issue to be discussed when members discuss the 2019 tournament to be staged in Cameroon.

The Executive Committee will meet in Accra on Friday for an extraordinary committee meeting.
