Ghanaian forward Raymond Owusu has joined Turkish side Istanbulspor for the 2022/23 season.

Owusu has signed a one-year contract, parting ways with Ukrainian side Zorya Lugansk

"Forward player Raymond Frimpong Owusu, whom we transferred from FC Zorya Luhansk club, met with our President Ecmel Faik Sarıalioğlu and signed a 1-year contract," the Turkish Super Lig newcomers announced.

Owusu has been inactive since Russia's invasion of Ukraine, but he appears sharp in training and has the potential to be an important player for Istanbulspor.

The former Asokwa Deportivo player moved to Ukraine from the Ghanaian side Gold Coast FA.
