Ghanaian-born Italy youth international Kelvin Yeboah has opened up about how he felt during his 10-day quarantine in Spain because of coronavirus.

Yeboah tested positive in the aftermath of Sturm Graz's Europa League match against Real Sociedad in early November.

While his teammates travelled back to Austria, Yeboah was quarantined in Spain for 10 days.

“I felt bad for a moment because of it, but that's life. Physically I felt okay,” said the Italian U21 team player about the mild course of his illness.

“What was more serious was the isolation while his teammates were allowed to travel back to Austria: I was just waiting for the moment to finally get out of the room."

All the greater was the satisfaction of the Graz striker in the race to catch up against LASK after a 3-0 deficit in the meantime: "That was a great match, we had this great comeback."

Yeboah has however bounced back from the traumatic experience, as he scored a brace against LASK before November concluded.

The nephew of Ghana legend Anthony Yeboah has found the net 12 times and assisted seven goals across all competitions this season.
