Telecommunication company Tigo have approached Techiman City FC officials over a possible sponsorship deal for the Ghana Premier League new-boys.
Officials of the third largest telecommunication company in the West African country visited City's playing body and officials at their training ground as they begin talks to become the headline sponsors of the newly-promoted side who have dominated the headlines in the 2016 Premier League season.
However Tigo have not made any financial commitment with City who had their President Charles Kwadwo Ntim present at the meeting.
With the Ghana FA yet to officially announce a new headline sponsors for the league following the withdrawal of First Capital Plus Bank, clubs have been edged to position themselves to attract individual sponsors.
