Ghana midfielder Alfred Duncan has lamented Sassuolo inability to win matches.

The Neroverdi have been hailed for their possession-based football but are struggling to make it count in terms of points accrued.

The Mapei Stadium outfit have picked just two points from their last five games which has left coach Roberto De Zerbi under severe pressure.

In the wake of their 5-3 defeat against Sampdoria on Sunday, Duncan who grabbed a goal in the game bewailed the result.

"We want to win, it's been a while since we made three points.” Duncan told Sky Sport.

“Something always goes wrong. The coach works on every episode that can happen in the field during the week. “We try to bring many players to the goal, the ranking is good but we have to aim for something important and we can do something more."

Duncan has netted four goals and assisted three in 19 league games for Sassuolo in the ongoing campaign.

His performance has earned him a place in Ghana squad to face Kenya in the final match of the 2019 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers.
