Published on: 24 December 2019

Hearts of Oak are sweating over getting the Accra sports stadium approved as their home for the upcoming Ghana Premier League season.

The Club Licensing Board on Tuesday released venues approved for the 2019/2020 football season and the Accra sports stadium was given a conditional approval

This means there are still one or more issues that need to be resolved before the capital stadium can pass for hosting a league game.

The various non-mandatory conditions and the deadlines for remediation have been discussed with the club.

The 2019/2020 Ghana Premier League season is starting over the weekend with the Phobians playing at home to Berekum Chelsea.
