Ghana Under-20 goalkeeper Felix Annan is not in a rush for a starting role at Asante Kotoko.

The 18-year-old who joined the Ghanaian League champions from Feyernood is yet to feature for the senior side.

He faces a tall order to dislodge experienced Abdoulaye Soulama and Isaac Amoako but the promising shot-stopper is in no rush for a starting role at the Ghanaian giants.

“I am not in a rush at all. Kotoko is the biggest platform that I can possible get on the local scene and so I am waiting for my time,” Annan told Radio XYZ

“There are senior and experienced goalkeepers in the team at the moment. But I am working hard to break into the team.

“I am young and just need to keep on working hard.”

Annan will be in-between the sticks when the Black Satellites battle Morocco in the return leg of the 2013 African Youth Championship qualifier in Rabat on Sunday.
