Relegated Bundesliga side Greuther Furth have found a replacement for Baba Abdul Rahman in anticipation of the Ghanaian's departure this summer.
Niko Gießelmann has been identified as the like-for-like substitute for the Asante Kotoko player.
Gießelmann from Hanover's U23 team can play defensively as offensively on the left.
"Niko is a fast, attacking full-back provided with a good technique, who can also play on the left wing. Niko We would like to take the next step and we want to help him," Greuther Furth's Sporting director Rouven Schröder said.
Rahman has been linked to a host of stellar European clubs including German Bundesliga side Schalke 04.
