Ghanaian midfielder Kingsley Schindler has rendered an apology to his Hannover 96 teammates after his outburst in the 2-1 defeat at Würzburger Kickers.

Schindler has endured a turbulent start to life at Hannover 96 since joining on loan from FC Cologne this summer.

The 27-year-old has only one assist to his name after 8 games.

He was in the news for the wrong reasons last week after he flared up during their 2-1 loss to Würzburger Kickers in the German Bundesliga 2.

Schindler threw tantrums at his coach after he was replaced with Hendrik Weydandt in the 62nd minute of the game.

The Ghanaian was critical of himself after admitting his mistake and expressed remorse over his actions.

“I was very emotional then,” he reports. "That was nothing personal towards anyone, but above all the dissatisfaction with myself. My reaction was not okay and will not happen again.”

“I am not yet satisfied with how things have gone for me so far. I may have been able to show what I can in some moments, but the rest has not yet been convincing.”

The defeat has left Hannover in 13th position with 12 points from 8 round of games.
