Chelsea ace, Callum Hudson-Odoi has finally agreed to represent the Black Stars of Ghana after meeting incoming coach Chris Hughton.

Sources close to GHANASoccernet.com revealed the player had a meeting with the coach at the Labadi Beach Hotel, where he has been lodging since arriving for a short break.

Hudson-Odoi, who has represented England at senior level can still switch allegiance due to the new FIFA rules.

Having exploded onto the scene after helping the England U17 team to World Cup triumph, the Chelsea player earned his senior national team call up after impressing with the Blues.

However, injuries affected his first team appearances at Chelsea forcing him to miss EURO 2020, after he was not included in Gareth Southgate's team.

Since then he has not had a look into the English team and has twice rejected an England U21 call up.

The player has been in Ghana twice in the last year, arriving in the summer for holidays before his latest return a week ago.
