I can play better than Hearts of Oak players, says Gilbert Fiamenyo

Former Hearts of Oak striker Gilbert Fiamenyo believes he can play better than the current players representing the club.

Fiamenyo, 29, is without a club while the Hearts players have won the Ghana Premier League this season.

"I can play with these current Hearts of Oak players and play even better if not injury crisis, and I will not join Hearts again if being offered to join the club once again because there’s too much pressure in the club," Fiamenyo told Angel FM.

He joined the Phobians in 2012 from Heart of Lions, however, a combination of injuries and poor scoring form, when fit, meant the club had to part ways with him after three years.

Hearts are expected to be crowned champions when they play WAFA in their final game in Sogakope on Sunday.
