Filipino club Kaya FC-Iloilo have announced the latest addition of Ghanaian midfielder Patrick Arthur to the club's roster, GHANAsoccernet.com can confirm

Arthur's arrival will bolster the foreign talent to a squad that already boasts the likes of Daizo Horikoshi (Japan), Robert Lopez Mendy (Senegal), Carlyle Mitchell (Trinidad and Tobago), and Ryo Fujii (Japan).

"It feels so great to join Kaya FC-Iloilo," Arthur said after completing his transfer move.

"My expectation is to help the team win medals, and also qualify and compete in the AFC Champions League next year.

"Kaya has a great history as one of the biggest clubs in the Philippines. I look forward to adding to that history."

The 25-year-old defensive midfielder has been unattached for close to a year after leaving Tunisian club Stade Tunisien in July 2021.

Arthur started his senior career with Ghanaian side Heart of Lions before joining Dreams FC from 2018 to 2020.

He later enjoyed a loan spell at Swedish side Ängelholms FF where he made 8 appearances in the Ettan Södra.
