Juventus have registered their interest in Chelsea midfielder Nemanja Matic as they prepare targets for the summer transfer window.
The 27-year-old Serbia international has failed to recapture the form which saw him earn plaudits across Europe as the Blues cruised to the Premier League title last season.
According to The Mirror, the former Benfica star could leave West London at the end of the current season while TuttoJuve.com have linked the Bianconeri with a €40 million bid for the combative destroyer.
Chelsea brought Matic back from Benfica for €25M in January 2014 after he initially joined the Portuguese giants as part of the deal which saw Brazilian defender David Luiz move in the opposite direction in January 2011.
Matic has made 76 appearances since returning to the club, scoring two goals in the process.
