Kayserispor midfielder Bernard Mensah is closing in on a move to BeÅŸiktaÅŸ, GHANAsoccernet.com can report.
The 25-year-old has been angling for a move away from the Turkish club over unpaid wages.
Besiktas coach Abdullah Mucib Avcı has confirmed his outfit is monitoring the situation of the Ghanaian.
"We are closely interested in Mensah. If its appropriate, we will go him. We would like to include him in our squad. our staff," he said
"We will discuss the issue with the club involved and will let you know."
Besiktas are keen on bringing the Ghanaian to the Vodafone Park and have already opened talks with Atletico Madrid who hold the player's economic right.
Mensah whose contract with Atletico expires in 2021 is currently valued at 1.5 Million Euros.
