Kevin Boateng wants Tevez at AC Milan

Published on: 29 December 2011

Midfielder Kevin-Prince Boateng has urged Italian giants AC Milan to sign Carlos Tevez in the January transfer window.

The Manchester City striker is set to leave the club after returning to Argentina last month without the club's permission and he is yet to report back to training.

Milan vice-president Adriano Galliani has openly admitted that an offer has been placed on the table for the 27-year-old.

Boateng admits that the player's 'bad attitude' is what makes him such a special player and is why there is so much interest in him.

"Carlitos has a story similar to mine, and to Ibra (Zlatan Ibrahimovic) and Cassano's (Antonio Cassano) ones and this made him the player he is," he told La Gazzetta dello Sport.

"Tevez is bad and he always wants to win. He runs and plays with his heart which makes him perfect for Milan."

Boateng, 24, admits there can be ups and down in football but he is currently relishing his time with the Rossoneri.

He added: "Being thrown into football from day to day makes you lose your balance. It happened to me when I played at Tottenham and I found myself suddenly in the world of fame. But now I have more experience and I can more easily maintain balance.

"I am very happy at AC Milan. I love the city and have an important story. I would stay here for a long time, but in football as in love there are ups and downs, so it's better living for the moment."

And asked what he would prefer to win between the Scudetto and the Champions League this season, he added: "I want to win the title again because this year is more difficult. There are many teams that are going well at the moment, but I'm confident in Europe too.

"Against Arsenal, we can win both games. Last season, we were unlucky against Tottenham but this year we are much stronger and we have more experience."
