A poll conducted by the Italian Football League authorities has awarded Kevin Prince Boateng with the best goal for the month of October.
The second goal scored at Lecce (3-2), a shot from outside the area, was voted the best goal of the month.
AC Milan midfielder received 873 votes which represents 47% of the total vote cast by readers of the website.
Boateng scored a hat-trick in the said after coming off the bench in the second half.
In September, however, the best goal was awarded to Juventus' Claudio Marchisio who scored in the home game against Parma in week 2.
