Asante Kotoko coach Maxwell Konadu has confirmed he will sit on the bench during the side’s coronation match against Tema Youth on Sunday.

The future of the ex-All Stars coach has been hugely speculated since he was handed the job as Black Stars assistant coach.

It’s widely believed he will quit the club to concentrate on the national team duty despite insisting he can combine both jobs.

He says he will be in charge on Sunday.

“I will sit on the bench during the match against Tema Youth,” Konadu said

“Nothing concrete has been reached and so I will urge people to stop speculating on my future.

“I am the head coach of Kotoko and nothing has changed despite my duties with the national team.
