Defensive duo Ben Adama and Joseph Ochaya are yet to debut for Kotoko because they are yet to be issued with work permit.

Adama joined the Ghanaian League Champions from Ivorian giants Asec Mimosa while highly-rated Ochaya was snapped from Ugandan top flight side Kampala City Council.

The two defenders watched from the stands as the Porcupine Warriors drew goalless with newly promoted Amidaus Professionals in their opening defence of their Premier League crown on Sunday.

However Kotoko’s Public and Supporters Relations Manager Listowell Yesu Bukarson say the players’ documentation is being worked on and will be ready by the close of the week.

“The two players could not play because the Ghana Immigration Service has not issue them with the work permit,” Bukarson said

“We are hoping to have that issued sorted out quickly so that they can feature for the club.

Kotoko are desperate to return to winning ways after their opening day blip.

They face a  difficult tie in their next game at Ashantigold on October 14.
